Biography
Professor Koray Ajarli is a specialist in liver, gallbladder and bile duct surgery. For 30 years of work, the doctor has performed more than 1,200 liver transplant operations. He is currently receiving patients at Memorial Sisli Hospital (Istanbul).
Professional biography
In 1986 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Istanbul with a degree in General Surgery. He completed an internship in Istanbul clinics in the field of surgery and liver transplantation.
From 1988 to 2007 Professor Ajarli worked at the University of Istanbul in the department of general surgery of the liver, gallbladder and bile ducts.
In 1991-1992, the doctor worked in New York (USA) at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in the department of liver transplantation. In 1995, he performed operations at the University Surgical Clinic of Hamburg (Germany).
Since 2004 he has been working as a surgeon in the Department of Liver, Gallbladder and Duct Surgery at Memorial Sisli Clinic.
