Biography:

Dr. Aykin Simsek – professor, doctor of medical sciences, orthopedic surgeon, traumatologist with 30 years of experience. Aykin Shimshek specializes and is one of the most sought-after experts in the field of hip replacement and the treatment of malignant tumors of the musculoskeletal system.

Aykin Shishmek graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Gazi University in Ankara in 1987. In 1995 he graduated from Gazi University in Ankara and worked there as an assistant professor in 1995. Between 1996 and 1997, he was a Fellow at Newcastle Upontyne University (UK), Department of Orthopedics in Newcastle, UK. He received his associate professor degree in orthopedics and traumatology in 2000, and in 2005 he received his professor’s degree, MD. Professor has been working at KOCH University Hospital at Koc University, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology since 2014.
