Ahmet Burkhan

Biography:

Dr. Ahmet Burhan is a professor, MD with over 40 years of experience. The main specialization of Dr. Akhmet Burkhan is oncology, hematology, bone marrow transplantation. Today the doctor works at the American clinic KOCH.

Burhan Ferhanoglu graduated from Vefa High School in 1972 and Istanbul University School of Medicine in 1978. Dr. Ferhanoglu completed his residency at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Internal Medicine in 1982, after doing a hematology internship between 1986 and 1988 at Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty, Faculty of Medicine, and was promoted to Associate Professor of Hematology in 1988. The professor also took part in research projects at the University of Texas, Health Science Center (USA, Texas), Department of Hematology / Oncology in the period from 1990 to 1991. He worked in the department of bone marrow transplantation. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle in 1992. He received his Professor of Hematology in 1994. In 1998, he became Chair of the Hematology Department at Amerikan Hastanesi Hospital.
